In this training, participants will learn:

- ƒƒWhy collaboration makes sense in today’s nonprofit world
- ƒƒWho to collaborate with
- ƒƒBuilding your initial collaboration roadmap
ƒƒ- How DANA can help you with your Collaboration work

About the Instructor
Dick brings both experience and a personal passion to his work with nonprofit organizations and their boards. In addition to over thirty years of experience as a manager and senior executive, he has served on the boards of Special Olympics, Big Brothers-Big Sisters, Chester County Council on Addictive Diseases, Alex’s Lemonade Stand, and Autism Speaks. Much of his work involves helping organizations take an integrated approach to strategy, culture, talent development and utilization, and client service and satisfaction. Dick served for 14 years as a member of Penn State’s adjunct faculty in the Smeal College of Business and Project Management Certificate program teaching courses in Leadership, Organizational Change, and Stages of Business Growth. He is a DANA consultant, working with a number of DANA member organizations in strategies and sustainability. He was also one of the six DANA consultants chosen to facilitate the Jim Collins Good to Great process. He has global for-profit experience, and is a Registered International Organization Development Consultant, in the areas of strategic planning, organizational performance, and mergers and acquisitions.
