Foundation for Board Excellence
A Signature DANA Training

This Signature DANA Training will highlight the important aspects of board governance universal to small and large nonprofits alike, as well as explore nationally accepted best practices. Topics will include:

  • A board's legal duties
  • Issues of stewardship
  • Oversight and accountability
  • Roles and responsibilities of board members and CEOs
  • Processes to ensure board effectiveness

This program is specifically designed to help develop the governance function of nonprofit Boards of Directors, and thereby strengthen the long-term community impact of the nonprofit organizations themselves. A trained governance consultant will take the organizations through hands-on learning based on nationally accepted best practices. Executive Directors, Chairs, current board members, and future board members are encouraged to register.
