The Department of Labor has issued revised overtime regulations that will apply to all organizations starting December 1, 2016. The revisions reflect a significant change in how employers can determine which employees are exempt from overtime and which employees will now be entitled to it. These revisions will have a major impact on nonprofits.

Linda, a Principal with Santora CPA Group in Newark, DE, is the Director of the firm’s HR Consulting Division. Prior to starting the HR Consulting Division, she was the firm’s business manager.
Linda provides consulting services to clients on a wide variety of human resource matters, including new employment regulations, HR advice, employee handbooks, HR reviews, training, on HR related subjects, and recruiting.
Linda also lead the implementation of Santora CPA Group’s adoption of Jim Collins’s Good to Great principles within the firm. She is a frequent speaker on a wide variety of HR matters for a number of national associations along with local ones:

Linda was one of the founders of Girls on the Run Delaware, and serves as their Co-Chair of the Board of Directors and Treasurer. She was the national president of the Association for Accounting Administration. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.
She received her Bachelors’ degree with a major in accounting from Merrimack College in North Andover, MA. Linda was a business owner and the controller for a real estate management company in Boston prior to relocating to Delaware.
