Do you understand all that your financial statements and Form 990 reflect about your organization? Are you missing opportunities to tell your story to interested volunteers, donors and program participants?

 

You're not alone. This 3-hour "hands-on" workshop will help you review and evaluate your financial statements and Form 990. Participants are encouraged to bring a set of financial statements and Form 990 from their respective non-profit organization. Together we will learn what questions you should be asking, how to interpret the story told through the numbers, identify ways to use financial reports for sound planning and good decision-making. In addition, participants will be guided through "best-practices" for preparing the Form 990, interpreting others' filings, how to avoid common mistakes, and identifying opportunities to benefit from the public disclosure requirement.

 

Updates in financial reporting requirements by FASB will be reviewed and discussed in terms of what it could mean for your organization.

DANA Cancellation & Refund Policy

Workshop registrations will not be confirmed until registration is complete and paid in full.

Cancellations must be at least 7 days prior to the scheduled workshop date to receive a full refund.  No shows and cancellations within 7 days of the workshop will not receive a refund of their registration cost. To cancel or reschedule, please submit an email to Louise Koonce at [email protected].

Cancellation by DANA

Dana may cancel workshops due to insufficient enrollment or inclement weather. Registrants will be offered the option to reschedule to a future workshop or to receive a full refund.

DANA is not responsible for any expenses incurred by the registrant is a workshop is cancelled.
