DANA’s membership is comprised of more than 225 nonprofits throughout Delaware. Our members include the entire spectrum of charitable institutions including the arts, education, environment, health, housing, human service, philanthropic, and religious organizations. For a current list click here.
Key Programs
DANA offers 25 programs and services to help Delaware nonprofits improve their performance. Among our most prominent:
Annual Conference & Nonprofit Expo
DANA’s signature event focuses on cutting edge management and administrative issues impacting nonprofits. The event now attracts more than 350 nonprofit leaders and their allies annually.
Nonprofit Institute
A full Spring and Fall curriculum of hands-on seminars which address topical concerns and help local nonprofit organizations more effectively administer the daily operations.
Leadership Delaware
This program recruits diverse individuals and trains them to be effective volunteer leaders in Delaware by providing high quality leadership training workshops and opportunities for practical involvement in the Delaware community.
Delaware Nonprofit Day
Held annually in May, this statewide conference hosted by DANA, focuses on important policy matters impacting nonprofit (on both a state and federal level). The summit also serves to help Delaware nonprofits become more effective advocates on behalf of their causes and constituents.

DANA’s Website has attracted over 1 million hits since its launch in 1999, and contains over 200 pages of unique content, online copies of all DANA publications, program announcements, volunteer and job opportunities, fundraising ideas, as well as over 500 documents and more than 2,000 links on all aspects of nonprofit management.
DANA Monthly Mailing
Every month, DANA members receive a mailing with "News You Can Use." Issues relevant to the sector as well as announcements of upcoming events and conferences are shared with all members.
