YWCA Delaware YWCA Delaware is seeking a part-time accountant to manage the government, corporate and foundation grants, restricted funds and month end closing and results analysis/reporting. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Grants Management: Manage fiscal compliance of all grants which includes accounting and billing of grants, understanding of grant scope and requirements and funder financial reporting needs, and reviews with program managers. Monthly Close: Ensure monthly reconciliation of all assigned account and complete processes that allow for timely month end close. The Accountant will provide guidance and support throughout the agency and participate in ongoing process improvements as well as support the annual audit. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Management (preferred) and at least 3 years of grants management and fund accounting in a non profit environment. Demonstrated knowledge of accounting software (Abila/MIP preferred), custom report writing and advanced excel skills desired. We offer a flexible schedule and competitive pay.
