Delaware workers' comp bureau proposes 40% hike after 14-17% spurned

Delaware businesses would pay, on average, about 40 percent more for workers’ compensation insurance under a new request for an increase. The new request comes after Insurance Commissioner Karen Weldin Stewart forced the Delaware Compensation Rating Bureau to withdraw an earlier proposal, not supported by claims data and changes due to recent legislative reforms.
