As a nonprofit leader, you know that the Delaware landscape continues to change. This environment is probably causing you to think of ways you can engage your board more fully and lead your organization more effectively.

The 2017 DANA Nonprofit Leadership Fellowship Program is designed to equip nonprofit CEOs and Board Chairs to build a more powerful collaborative relationship and to identify and address the changes needed for sustainability and growth.

“I recommend the DANA Fellowship because it is NOT a typical training environment, rather it is an extraordinary opportunity to ratchet your organization to the next level.”

--Diane Ferry, Board President, DE SPCA

The 2017 Fellowship Program draws extensively from  current nationally recognized best practices and DANA’s  Standards for Excellence ®.

The Program design team includes consultants experienced  in leadership development,  governance, organizational  design, and strategic planning.

“The course acted as a catalyst to focus
the ED and Board Chair on their interaction with staff and the Board. The result has
better engaged the Board and assisted in
a more efficient transition of the new management team.”

-- Clint Walker, Board Chair,
West End Neighborhood House

“The DANA Fellowship Program provided a framework for my board president and I to create three strategies to engage board members at a deeper level. With my staff of 30, I was able to lead them through an exercise we learned in the program which enabled them to better see one another’s perspectives and opened up greater dialogue within the team.”

-- Vickie Innes, Executive Director,
Reading Assist Institute
