Ms. Schiavoni has presented, published and lectured nationally on a variety of topics including brand building for nonprofits, results-driven integrated marketing communications, advocacy communications and developing effective fundraising strategies. Her work has garnered national awards from the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), the National Federation of Press Women, and others. Ms. Schiavoni is a member of the Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay Board Development Committee, and currently serves as Board Chair of DANA. She previously served on the communications committee of the HOPE Commission of Wilmington, and is a former President of the Delaware Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, as well as of the Delaware Chapter of the American Marketing Association. As the former Chief External Affairs Officer and Senior Vice President at Christiana Care Health System, she served as an advisor to the CEO and led all brand management, marketing, communications, advocacy, social media, patient experience, and fundraising. She is accredited by the Public Relations Society of America; graduated from the University of Delaware and received her Masters of Science from Syracuse University.
