Nicholas P. Lambrow
President, Delaware Region

Mr. Lambrow was named Regional President for Delaware in 2011. Prior to that appointment, Mr. Lambrow served for eight years as the Regional President for the Chesapeake and Central Maryland Division, which included the Eastern Shore, and parts of Central, Southern, and Western Maryland. In his current role, Mr. Lambrow has direct responsibility for the commercial efforts and market outreach within the region, as well as coordinating the activities of the bank’s Business Banking and Retail departments.
Mr. Lambrow graduated from Loyola College with a degree in Business Administration and began his career with a predecessor to M&T Bank, the First National Bank of Maryland (later Allfirst) as a Retail Management Trainee in 1980. Throughout his career, he has held a range of managerial positions throughout the bank’s Maryland and Greater Washington markets, including Relationship Manager and Unit Head for both the Business Banking and Middle Market areas.
Mr. Lambrow is a past recipient of the Business Leader of the Year Award from the Annapolis and Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce and recently received the Pioneer Award from the Black Chamber of Commerce of Anne Arundel County.
Mr. Lambrow serves as a trustee of Winterthur Museum, Garden, and Library, trustee of the Christiana Care Health System, Director of the Delaware Alliance for Nonprofit Advancement (DANA), Leadership Anne Arundel, and 21st Century Education Foundation. Currently, he serves a Co-Chair of the bank’s Loan Committee in Delaware. He is Chairman of M&T Bank’s Advisory Council for the Eastern Shore. Mr. Lambrow has served as Board Member and Loan Committee Chair for the CityFirst Bank of DC. Other affiliations include Anne Arundel Economic Development Corp, Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts, and the Anne Arundel Trade Council.
