Paulette Austin is CEO of Generations Home Care. She joined Generations Home Care in 1986, as the New Castle County Director, becoming CEO in 1991. Under her leadership, Generations grew from $3 million in 1991 to a $7.4 million nonprofit company in 2014. Working with the GHC Board of Directors, she completed a strategic business plan including the implementation of an $800,000 dollar clinical software system, the agency’s first major IT system implementation. The new system will streamline service delivery functions and improve patient outcomes.
Generations Home Care, incorporated in Delaware in 1968, provides state-wide home health services, medical transportation, adult foster care, levels I & II, housekeeping and homemaker assistance and information and counseling services from three locations (Wilmington, Dover and Georgetown).
She is a member of the Board of the Delaware Aging Network, Delaware Alliance for Nonprofit Advancement and the Health Advisory Council, United Way of Delaware.
She has a BA in Sociology from Fisk University, Nashville, Tennessee and a Master Degree in Administration & Policy from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan.
