Starting with the “brutal facts,” our board and staff worked through many difficult questions that challenged long-held assumptions. What are we “best at”? How strong is our “resource engine”? The answers weren’t always easy to find or accept. But through an iterative process of asking difficult questions and demanding honest answers, this program gave us both a vocabulary and a framework to discover our strengths and identify a realistic path forward. It was one of the best strategic planning processes I’ve been through. I highly recommend it.
